Amazing customer service from Sonya Sahota and Dr. My. They are always so pleasant to see and talk to on my dentist appointments. Such an amazing team!

I have had three appointments over the last few weeks at the office - the first being a root canal which Dr. Chris performed.
Hearing "reports" from other people who have had this procedure done, I was quite nervous. Needn't have been! Dr. Chris calmed me right away as he explained the entire procedure before he began and kept me informed as to where he was in the procedure during the process. He was extremely gentle! My appointment was exactly the length of time I had expected. While I hesitate to say the experience was enjoyable, it was at least pleasant. I understand Dr. Chris is going to specialize in root canal dentistry in the near future. Just an added bonus for the office I think!
My next appointment involved hygiene with Marcie. Marcie is an excellent hygienist! I have had several visits with her over the years that I have been at 16th Avenue Dental; it's always a pleasure catching up while she takes care of my teeth.
Then there is the delightful Sonya who greets everyone with a smile and answers emails immediately! This is so appreciated.
I would be remiss not to mention Amanda. I know she made Dr. Chris' job so much easier when he looked after me, seemed to know exactly what he needed almost before he did. She too greets with a smile, is always happy to answer questions and generally just takes care of her patients. So important!
Finally, I cannot say enough about the care Dr. My has given to me. Her kindness and gentleness not to mention patience with my slow-to-heal mouth, the extra time she has spent with me is so appreciated! She makes going to the dentist a much more pleasurable experience!
And it's the little things as well - I have never waited any longer than five minutes to be called and being walked back to Sonya at the end of an appointment just proves how much the team cares about their patients.
